Background and History
Leticia Skrabut is a Tax Attorney who represents individuals and businesses in a variety of tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service and local taxing authorities. She assists clients with a broad range of tax controversy and compliance matters, including foreign bank account reporting, cryptocurrency taxation, and preparing Offer in Compromise packages.
As a native speaker of both Spanish and English, Leticia assists clients in both languages.
During her time at George Washington Law School, Leticia served as Chair of Professional Outreach for the Tax Law Society, Academic Chair of the Latin American Law Students Association, and Treasurer of the International Refugee Assistance Project.
Prior to being admitted as an Attorney, Leticia worked as a Law Clerk at Azarvand Tax Law. Before joining Azarvand Tax Law, she held various legal roles, including working as a Law Clerk in a boutique tax law firm and gaining practical experience as a Student Attorney in the Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic.
She also served as a Research Assistant to two GW Law professors, conducting bilingual research using her Spanish fluency and contributing to the design of an innovative insurance model for low-probability, high-impact catastrophes known as black swan events.
