Background and History

Candice Miller is a Tax Attorney who represents individuals and businesses in a variety of tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service and local taxing authorities. In 2024 and 2025, Candice earned recognition on both the SuperLawyers: Rising Stars list, as well as the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list.

Before Joining Azarvand Tax Law as a Partner and Tax Attorney, Candice worked as a Tax Attorney in a Maryland-based law firm. Prior to practicing as a Tax Attorney, Candice also completed a year-long Judicial Clerkship on the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland for the Honorable Judge Kevin F. Arthur.

Candice completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she graduated in the top ten percent (10%) of her law school class. Candice also received the Dean’s Citation Award, which is only awarded to approximately fifteen (15) graduating students per year. While in law school, Candice also served as an Associate Editor of the UB Law Forum, a Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) Ambassador, the Student Liaison of the American Bar Association (ABA) Law Practice Division, and a Student Representative for the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the MSBA.
